Ewing Cock Saddle Irish Colours - Fiery Brown

We’ve taken an already outstanding product and brought it to the next level by dyeing a range of stunning colours in-house, specifically with the Irish market in mind. Many of our customers ask for unique shades that aren’t typically available — and now, we're making them happen.

Ewing Cock Saddles are incredibly versatile, offering hackles with fine, stiff fibres and excellent density — perfect for dry flies in sizes 10 to 14. The broader feathers near the base of each saddle add even more flexibility, making them ideal for Woolly Buggers, pike flies, and saltwater patterns.

All colours are dyed in-house. While we’re not currently taking custom requests, we’ll continue to dye small batches when time allows and list them here for sale.

These saddles are especially well-suited for palmered wet flies, such as traditional Irish wets. With a wide range of feather sizes on each saddle, they’re also perfect for tying dry flies down to size 14–16.
