Ewing Schlappen Pack - Silver Doctor Blue Grizzly

Ewing Schlappen Packs contain a fantastic selection of long, soft and webby rooster feathers with loads of natural movement in the water.

Schlappen feathers are found just in front of the rooster’s tail. They have much softer fibres and more flexible stems than traditional cock hackle, making them ideal for larger flies where movement and profile are important.

These feathers can be wrapped as flowing body hackles and collars or used in wings and tails. They are particularly useful for salmon and sea trout flies, pike flies, streamers, lures, tube flies and saltwater patterns.

As you would expect from Ewing Feather Birds, the feather quality and colour are excellent. Each pack offers a useful selection of sizes, giving you plenty of options for everything from smaller lures to much larger patterns.
