These Hen Pheasant Wing Quills are natural secondary feathers taken from hen pheasant wings. Each pack contains 10 feathers, carefully plucked by us from locally sourced birds from shoots, giving you well-marked feathers with soft, workable fibres.

Hen pheasant feathers are slightly softer and more subtle in colour than cock pheasant, making them ideal for tying natural-looking wings on traditional trout flies. They are particularly well suited for patterns such as March Browns and Green Peter sedges, where their mottled brown tones help create realistic wing profiles.
