Kindale Mallard Duck Round Breast - Yellow

Our Mallard Duck Round Breast feathers are sourced locally and carefully selected to ensure you receive clean, usable tying material in every 2g pack.

Taken from the round breast area of the mallard, these feathers offer natural colour and soft, workable fibres suited to a variety of traditional trout patterns. They are particularly well known for use as wings on certain Irish May Fly patterns, where their shape and structure lend themselves to clean, classic profiles.

As with all our feathers, we take the time to sort and prepare each pack properly. There’s nothing worse than opening a bag and finding broken stems or oversized feathers that aren’t suitable for tying. Each 2g pack is selected to provide consistent fibre length and good structure, giving you more usable material at the vice.
