Our Mallard Flank Feathers are sourced locally and carefully hand selected to ensure you receive high-quality, usable feathers in every pack.

Known for their natural barring and soft, mobile fibres, mallard flank is a versatile material suited to both traditional and modern fly patterns. The fibres have excellent movement in the water, making them ideal for wings, collars, cheeks, and soft hackle style applications.

As with all our feathers, we take the time to sort and select properly. There’s nothing worse than receiving a loose bag where a large portion is broken, oversized, or unusable. Each pack is chosen to provide well-marked, structurally sound feathers with consistent fibre length, giving you more usable material and better value.
