The Tequila Booby is one of the most effective and dependable stillwater trout flies ever created. Its bold colour combination of fluorescent orange and yellow makes it highly visible in all water conditions, while the foam booby eyes keep it suspended just above the lakebed — right in the trout’s strike zone.

Fished on a sinking line with a slow retrieve or static under a bung, the Tequila Booby is deadly during colder months when trout are hugging the bottom, or in summer when they’re chasing bright attractor patterns.
