Woofta Booby - #10

The Woofta Booby has become a firm favourite on the UK stillwater competition scene, and it is not difficult to see why. It is a proper attention-grabbing pattern with plenty of movement and buoyancy, making it a great choice when you need to provoke a response from the trout.

Fish it on the point of a washing-line cast, pull it through the surface when trout are on the move, or use it with a sinking line and short leader to hold the fly just above the bottom. It is also a useful searching pattern when you arrive at the water and need to find the fish.
